movie released in early 2000s and was a box office hit. Director's second movie and got excellent accolades to this successful director till date. All his movies released so far were box office hits. This movie is one of the very few movies this hero underplayed. This movie was far different from this hero's regular movies. Music by IR.

* Heard, this is the first digitally recorded/mastered song in Tamil, or something like that. True?

* I always remember Simran for one small eye expression in this movie, persuading her daughter to forgive her friend and go nice with her. Just half a second given, and she'd have proven how good she is at work! Note it the next time you watch this movie. :-)

The song is 'Vaanavilley' from the movie 'Ramanaa'. Director - A.R.Murugadoss, MD - Ilaiyaraja. Lead pair - Vijayakanth & Simran. Singers - Hariharan (and there is a female version with Sadhana Sargam too).
