The actors in the movie all are just average performers and aren't that famous. The story is about two brothers separated in childhood and so the story rolls... This interlude sounds quite peppy though the song actually sounds more classical. More like a fusion song in those years. The movie got released around mid 80's. (More clues upon request if needed)

Song " O Vasantha Raja" from Neengal Kettavai. This song is a vintage raja melody that is said to be loosely based on the raaga "Suddha Dhanyasi".
This movie had fabulous songs. Another perennial favorite is " Pillai Nila" and the famous dappankuthu song of the 80's " Adiye Manam".
