This is mid 90's song. A very mesmerizing number. Though the cast isn't impressive, it is shot in one of the beautiful locales in India. But the way the song has been choreographed, the costumes, the song sucks big time for that. And also the hero who actually learned to dance a little later nearly flopped this song.

This song is "Alah un aanai padi" from the movie "Chandralekha" composed by IR

The hero is Vijay who is today supposed to be the Dance ikon of Tamil Industry. The movie was a big flop, but this song stood out.

That sure was tough :) Must say, the part about the hero's dancing abilities made it harder for me. I don't remember Vijay being a bad dancer ever, as much as I dislike his acting. Anyway...
