This song sort of sounds carnatic maybe to suit the situation. A very beautiful actress features in this song and has been shot quite well. The movie was a hit and was directed by the ace director of tamil film industry who had a lot of successful movies to his credit. He's one of the director who addresses social subjects and delves into feminists aspects as well.

" Kannukul Nooru Nilava" from " Vedham Pudhidhu". The song is set in the raaga "Shanmughapriya".

This was the first Bharathiraja movie which didn't have raja as MD ( first movie post-fight).
